Evangelos Makris was born in Athens in 1968.
He started martial arts in 1984 with Chinese kung fu, along the way he was involved in Karate, Taiho jutsu and then Aikido.Guided by the sensei Marios Constantinou 5th dan founder of Cyprus Aikido Academy .
In 2014 with the permission of Marios Constantinou Sensei, he proceeded to establish the branch of Cyprus Aikido Academy Hellas.
From December 2018, he continued his parallel training in Yoshinkan Aikido style. He joined the world federation RWAF YOSHINKAN AIKIDO RYU and founded the first branch in Athens with the permission also of the Japanese federation and the approval of the committee headed by Ando Shihan 8th Dan.
The cooperation with Cyprus and Japan is active and parallel until today,
